<p>In an image capture device that generates a high-resolution image by employing a plurality of image capture assemblies to composite a capture image, memory usage increases when the process is carried out in hardware. Disclosed is an image capture device comprising at least three image capture assemblies, further comprising an optical assembly and an image capture element. The image capture assemblies are positioned in the pixel array direction of the image capture elements. A photographic subject, which is within an image capture distance of a prescribed range, is captured such that a sampling phase in the array direction is shifted by 0.2-0.8 pixels, relative to an image captured by a first image capture assembly, by any of the other image capture assemblies.</p> |
