PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid of which the entire length is extendable according to the body type and the purpose of use and of which the length of a transmission rod that switches a non-slip member that projects from the lower end side to a projected state and stored state is adjustable.SOLUTION: A supporting member 10 equipped with a grip member 18 on its upper end is composed of a top side cylindrical body 11 and a bottom side cylindrical body 12, and a lock pin 20 is inserted into an inserting hole 23 of the bottom side cylindrical body 12 and either one of four locking holes 24 of the top side cylindrical body 11, thereby keeping the walking aid locked in a state that its length is adjusted. A pin 42 installed on the transmission rod 41 is engaged with either one of four engaging concave sections 44 of a sliding groove 43 of a transmission sleeve 40, thereby keeping the extension of the transmission rod 41 adjusted according to the extension of the supporting member 10. |
