PRINTER AND DENSITY CORRECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which always attains satisfactory print quality under any usage environment.SOLUTION: A temporary print-read data acquisition section displays, on a display, the temporary print-read data acquired by reading a temporary printed matter. When a user selects a position in the temporary printed matter through a temporary print-read data display screen 300 on which the temporary print-read data are displayed, a head specifying part corresponding to the selected region specifies a head executed to print on the selected position accepted as a correction target. A density correction part corrects the density in the print region to be executed with the head as the correction target.
