PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning system that uniformly and efficiently removes dust in a room with a simple structure, and to provide an air cleaner suitable for the system.SOLUTION: A plurality of air cleaners 10 are arranged apart from each other in a room space 30. Each air cleaner 10 is equipped with: a housing 11 having an air inlet 11c and an air outlet 11a; an electrode filter 14 that is arranged on the air inlet 11c side and electrostatically charged to positive polarity to remove dust in the air; an air pressure feeder 12 that feeds with pressure the air passed through the electrode filter 14, and discharges the air from the air outlet 11a to generate an air stream; and a negative ion generator 13 to ionize the air stream. In the configuration of the air cleaning system, the air outlet 11a of each air cleaner 10 is arranged facing another air cleaner 10. The ionized air stream reached from each air cleaner 10 to another air cleaner 10 is received from the air inlet 11c of the air cleaner 10 to remove dust in the air. |
