PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club which improves repulsion and stabilizes a hitting angle in a well balanced manner, is excellent in swing balance, and is easy to swing.SOLUTION: For the golf club, a metallic club head 10 in a hollow structure is mounted on the distal end of a shaft 6. A sole part 18 includes: a sole front part 18a provided with a thin part that is thinner than a face part 12 and extends along the face part; and a sole member 28 formed by the material of larger specific gravity than the sole front part and disposed on the rear side of the sole front part. Respective heights of the position of the centroid G of a head and the position of a sweet spot S when the sole part 18 is grounded are set to be ≤13 mm and ≤23 mm, and a centroid angle k between a vertical line g vertical to the axis 6a of the shaft passing through the centroid of the head and the face part 12 is formed to be 26 degrees or larger. |
