PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient occupant restraint performance in a frontal collision even when being mounted on a vehicle with a shorter crushable zone.SOLUTION: A knee air bag device for a vehicle 22 is arranged on the back side of an instrument panel lower panel. An outside bracket 54 and an inside bracket 56 which are made of metal, respectively, and paired on right and left sides, are extended from both ends in the vehicle width direction of the module case 28 toward the instrument panel reinforcement 60 side. The outside bracket 54 is supported by the instrument panel reinforcement 60 through a support member 62. The inside bracket 56 is supported by a floor brace 66 through an upper bracket 68. Further, the outside bracket 54 and the inside bracket 56 are connected by a coupling member 72 which is made of metal, with its longitudinal direction in a vehicle width direction. |
