PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent insulating liquid having a refractive index of about 1.5 close to a refractive index of glass, a high insulation property, and high stability, and to provide a high transmittance touch panel using the transparent insulating composition as a constituting member.SOLUTION: The transparent insulating composition contains a compound represented by formula (Ia) to formula (Ik), having a molecular weight ≥120 and ≤400, and having a melting point ≤0°C, and a melting point of the composition is ≤0°C. The touch panel using the composition as the constituting member and a display element including the touch panel are also provided. |
