PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence, including a metal fitting to temporarily place the end of a fence beam, and constructed using the same metal fitting used in a flat ground for installation on a slope as well.SOLUTION: A bracket 3 is provided with a receiving part 32 opened obliquely upward and extending in the longitudinal direction, and fitted to the side wall of a support 1 by one mounting bolt B1 to vertically rotatable around the mounting bolt B1. A covering metal fitting 4 is provided with a covering part 41 opened obliquely downward and extending in the longitudinal direction, the end of the fence beam 2 is received by a receiving part 32 of the bracket 3, the covering part 41 of the covering metal fitting 4 is put thereon, and the end of the fence beam 2 and the covering metal fitting 4 are fixed to the bracket 3 by a fixing bolt B2, so that with the bracket 3 fixed to the support 1, the end of the fence beam 2 can be temporarily placed on the receiving part 32 of the bracket 3 to allow a worker to construct the fence alone. |
