IMPROVED SCISSORS

The scissors (1500) is for cutting adhesive tape or film which is dispensed from a roll (1520). The scissors includes a curling device (1514) having one or more knuckles (1515, 1516, 1517) and a contact surface mounted on at least one blade (1501) of the scissors. The free edge of the tape or film can adhere to the curling device after cutting. This enables the user to manipulate the scissors to form a curl (1521), fold and/or hold the free edge of the tape or film. The free edge can readily be picked up for subsequent use. The scissors may be used to cut, curl, hold and fold the free edge of the tape or film either for standard or for medical use.
