PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and its control method, quickly restarting power generation, even in case an error occurs within the system, while suppressing increase in COemission and deterioration of energy efficiency.SOLUTION: When an error other than an error related to a hydrogen production device 1 is detected, a control unit 20 sets a supply destination of reformed gas to only a burner 10, and continues the operation of at least the hydrogen production device 1, thereby putting the hydrogen production device 1 into a self-sustained operation state. According to this, the hydrogen production device 1 which is not involved in the error is allowed to stand by in the self-sustained operation state without stopping the operation while performing processing for solving the error to a part with the error within the system, and when the system is restarted, the reform gas is rapidly supplied to a cell stack 20 without needing energy or time for start-up. |
