PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lithium containing transition metal complex oxide used for a positive electrode active material of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, and improve output characteristics in a low temperature region.SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: a positive electrode 11 to contain the positive electrode active material; a negative electrode 12 to contain a negative electrode active material; and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution 14 in which a solute is dissolved into a nonaqueous solvent. This uses an object in which on a surface of the positive electrode active material composed of the lithium containing transition metal complex oxide expressed by a general formula LiMeO(in formula, Me is transition metal to contain element of one kind or more selected among Co, Ni, Mn, and a, and b satisfies condition of 0.9≤a/b≤1.2), a strong dielectric is used of which the relative permittivity is 500 or more is sintered. |
