PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cascaded boost switching power supply circuit having the proper number of stages.SOLUTION: The cascaded boost switching power supply circuit obtained by cascading a plurality of boost switching power supply circuits is configured by cascading n-stages of boost switching power supply circuits whose number is given by an integer n which satisfies following formula 1: E=(T/T)×E×[1/{1+(T/T)×(r/R)}]where ris a resistance value corresponding to loss in a boost switching power supply circuit in the final stage, R is a value of an equivalent resistor connected to an output side, Eis a voltage value to be output and Eis a voltage value to be input, and has the maximum power efficiency ηrepresented by formula 2: η=1/{1+(T/T)×(r/R)}, where the power efficiency ηis proportion between the output power and the input power. |
