PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling accuracy while keeping mounting strength of a knee air bag module on a vehicle.SOLUTION: The knee air bag module 14 is connected in a vehicle front side direction with a mounting bracket 12 provided in an instrument panel reinforcement 22, and connected with a vehicle width direction inner surface 26 (vehicle side part) of an A pillar positioned outside in the vehicle width direction of the knee air bag module 14 through an outside bracket 16 in an outward direction of the vehicle width direction. Then, reference points of the connection in a vehicle longitudinal direction are integrated in the instrument panel reinforcement 22. The outside bracket 16 has a play at least in the vehicle longitudinal direction with respect to the vehicle width direction inner surface 26 (vehicle side part) of the A pillar. Thereby, variation in the positional relations between the instrument panel reinforcement 22 as the reference point of the connection in the vehicle longitudinal direction and the vehicle width direction inner surface 26 (vehicle side part) of the A pillar can be absorbed. |
