PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method that facilitates selecting an arbitrary measuring point of a measuring object, and measures the measuring point by remote control operation, thereby performing three-dimensional measurement efficiently.SOLUTION: A remote surveying station 1 is mounted on a moving body 100 and the moving body 100 is operated by the remote operation from control PC 200 by radio control, while a three-dimensional measuring instrument 2 of the remote surveying station 1 and the control PC 200 are connected by wireless LAN so that the three-dimensional measuring instrument 2 can be operated by the remote control operation from the control PC 200. As the moving body 100 carrying the remote surveying station 1 is moved, or while it is moved, by the radio control operation from the control PC 200, according to this constitution, three-dimensional measurement of a comparatively huge measuring object such as a concrete dam top end, an earth and sand form slope or a banking shape is performed by the remote control operation of the three-dimensional measuring instrument 2 by the wireless LAN from the control PC 200. |
