PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake duct which comprises an air inlet which normally has a rigidity capable of withstanding an intake air negative pressure therein and which can be reliably crushed by a predetermined vertical load acting on the upper duct wall when an abnormal impact is applied to the intake duct.SOLUTION: A support wall 10 serving as a strut part includes a flat plate-like first support wall 11 and a flat plate-like second support wall 12. The first support wall 11 and the second support wall 12 are vertically supported on each other by crossing each other in an X-shape. The first support wall 11 includes bending suppression parts 11g overlapped with the large width part 12e of the second support wall 12 when viewed in the direction perpendicular to the wall surface of the second support wall 12. When a first vertical load acts on the support wall 10, the large width part 12e is bent, and the large width part 12e is brought into contact with the bending suppressing parts 11g. When a second vertical load larger than the first vertical load acts on the support wall 10, the bending suppressing parts 11g are bent, and the contact of the large width part 12e and the bending suppressing parts 11g is removed, whereby the crossing of the first support wall 11 and the second support wall 12 is disengaged. |
