JOINING JIG AND JOINING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a joining jig capable of suppressing plastic deformation of a joining material and achieving high-strength diffusion joining.SOLUTION: The joining jig carries out the diffusion joining through a first stage where the joining material 5 is sandwiched by spacers 7 to prevent fusion during joining and a pressing force is vertically applied to overlapped surfaces so as to stick them and a second stage where diffusion at the overlapped surfaces is progressed. The joining jig includes: a base 1 for horizontally mounting a surface where the joining members 5 sandwiched by the spacers 7 are overlapped; supports 3 erected on the base 1; a fixed plate 2 supported by and fixed to the supports 3; a weight 11 and a spring 8 which are arranged between the upper surface of the spacer 7 and the lower surface of the fixed plate 2; the spring receiving plate 10 of the spring 8; and an adjusting screw 4 for adjusting the pressing force of the spring 8 by vertically moving the spring receiving plate 10. At the first stage the total pressing force of the weight 11 and the spring 8 is applied and at the second stage the pressing force of the weight 11 is applied.
