PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane distillation apparatus having high heat exchange efficiency and enhanced in fresh water producing efficiency as a result.SOLUTION: The first partition wall parts 3b extending from the upper end of a first flow chamber 3a to the lower end thereof in parallel are formed to a first frame body 3 to divide the inside of the first flow chamber 3a into a plurality of first passages 3c extending in an up and down direction in parallel to each other. The second partition wall 5b extending from the upper end of a second flow chamber 5a to the lower end thereof is formed to a second frame body 5 to divide the inside of the second flow chamber 5a into a plurality of second passages 5c extending in an up and down direction in parallel to each other. High temperature seawater is allowed to flow to the first passage 3c from the lower end part thereof to the upper end part thereof. Low temperature fresh water is allowed to flow to the second passages 5c from the upper end part thereof to the lower end part thereof. |
