PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible light communication power-generating system which dispenses with a battery change by enabling locking/unlocking to be performed on the basis of information authentication concurrently with power generation.SOLUTION: This visible light communication power-generating system 1 includes an electric lock device 3 which performs locking/unlocking control of a lock provided in a gate, and employs an information light-emitting device 2 which applies visible light corresponding to an ID permitting passage through the gate. The electric lock device 3 comprises: a light reception power-generating section 11 which receives outside light containing the visible light from the information light-emitting device 2 and which generates electric power by generating photovoltaic power corresponding to the received outside light; a secondary battery 15 for storing the electric power generated by the light reception power-generating section 11; and a control section 13 which acquires the ID permitting the passage through the gate from the level of the power generation brought about by the visible light received from the information light-emitting device 2 by the light reception power-generating section 11, which determines the legitimacy of the acquired ID by collating and comparing the acquired ID with an ID for collation, and which performs control for unlocking the gate, when normally authenticating the acquired ID. |
