PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical lens, which is almost free from the generation of striae, even for manufacturing a lens with a larger volume per piece, a high strength lens or a semi-finished lens.SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing an optical lens is to make a polymerization curing of an optical resin composition 3 composed of a chemical compound (A) with not less than one structure represented by formula (1) in one molecule, an inorganic compound (B) with a sulfur atom and/or a selenium atom, and a chemical compound (C) with not less than one mercapto group in one molecule by injecting the optical resin composition 3 in a molding die 1 having a pair of glass molds. In addition, during polymerization curing, the molding die 1 is retained at an angle of 60 to 120° to the horizontal plane. In the formula (1), Ris a 1 to 10C carbon hydride group; R, Rand Rare each independently a 1 to 10C carbon hydride group or hydrogen; Y is O, S, Se or Te; l=0 to 5, m=0 or 1; and n=1 to 5. |
