PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent plug for a lead-acid battery, for allowing easy check of the assembling accuracy of an explosion-proof filter.SOLUTION: The vent plug 10 for the lead-acid battery has the explosion-proof filter 40 and a splash-proof mechanism 30 inserted into a vent plug body 20 in sequence, and assembled together. The splash-proof mechanism 30 has a splash-proof plate 32, and a protruded portion 33 protruded above the splash-proof plate 32. The front end 34 of the protruded portion 33 of the splash-proof mechanism 30 abuts on part of the explosion-proof filter 40 when the vent plug 10 is assembled. |
