PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter replacing device that prevents a connected external optical system device from being vibrated when a filter is replaced and allows easy filter replacement.SOLUTION: The optical filter replacing device includes: a U-shaped adapter which is attached and fixed to the external optical system device and provided with an external optical path window for an optical path of an optical path external optical system on the side face; a filter wheel which is housed in a case with its one end arranged in an opening part of the adapter for replacing and arranging a required filter in the optical path of the external optical system device; a relative position decision means which is arranged between the adapter and the case and is engaged with them during assembly to decide a relative position of the case to the adapter while releasing the engagement during operation of the device; and an external base supporting means which is arranged in the case to support the case by the external base and adjusted in the vertical direction height from the external base.
