The adjusting part has a rotary unit (2) i.e. turntable, rotatably supported in, at or on an installation surface (1) around a pivot point or a rotational axis (8). A control lever (4) is attached on the rotary unit, and an armrest (3) is firmly connected to the rotary unit. A forearm is placed on the armrest by an operator during actuation of the control lever. A shield (7) protects the adjusting part against dust, dirt and wetness. The rotary unit includes recesses for control elements e.g. switch and control lamps. An independent claim is also included for an ergonomic control environment including a control seat.
