Scrim device (100) comprises: two longitudinal edges (110); several crocheted warp threads or crochet threads (120) fixing ends of the scrim arranged parallel to the longitudinal edges; several upright threads (130) arranged parallel to the crochet threads; and several weft threads (140) introduced between the crochet threads and the upright threads. The weft threads are diagonal to the crochet threads in an angle of 25-65[deg] , and are redirected repeatedly to a predetermined width of -25[deg] to -65[deg] within an edge region adjacent to the longitudinal edges to provide a scrim designed as a tape.
