FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: control method of the state of engine cylinders consists in carrying out the measurements of parameters of pressure change of the air supplied to cylinders. When air start-up system is used during measurements without fuel supply, crankshaft is rotated. Measurements are performed in air start-up main line of the engine. Measurement result is obtained based on the main line pressure change analysis considering crankshaft position. ^ EFFECT: reducing labour intensity and control time of the state of engine cylinders. ^ 1 dwg
