PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing that can manufacture a biodegradable container with sufficient productivity.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the biodegradable container includes processes for using a foam molding die 6 comprising a pair of male mold and female mold fittable to each other and including a heater, arranging two biodegradable films 3 above the female mold 5 in a state of holding a biodegradable material 7 between the two biodegradable films 3, fitting the male mold 4 and the female mold 5 to each other while stretching the biodegradable films 3 with the male mold 4, and heating the biodegradable material 7 to foam and bake it within the die to thereby coat the surface of a base material layer 2 with the biodegradable films 3. The biodegradable film 3 is made from polylactic acid and has a melting point of 145-150°C. The biodegradable material 7 is made of a kneaded material obtained by kneading starch, pulp and water. The process for heating the biodegradable material 7 in the die 6 is a process for steam-foaming to bake the biodegradable material 7 while maintaining the die 6 in a range of 120-135°C. |
