PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle and a security system for a vehicle allowing an on-vehicle robot driven with power supplied from an on-vehicle battery to effectively function while suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: A control section 30 sets a supply mode of power supplied from the battery B to the robot 20 to the drive mode for supplying a predetermined drive power, when a passenger is detected. It changes over the supply mode to power save mode along with the change over from the state where a passenger has been detected to the state where not detected. If an approaching person is detected in the power save mode, the supply mode is returned to the drive mode for a predetermined alert period. The control section 30 carries out a normal function associated with photographing by the robot 20 when a passenger is detected. Meanwhile, when a passenger is not detected, it carries out a security function to allow the robot 20 to photograph a person X approaching the vehicle. In the power save mode, it changes over to the drive mode along with the detection of the approaching person X, to carry out the security function. |
