PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive control device capable of preventing torque fluctuation when starting an internal combustion engine when traveling using only an electric motor.SOLUTION: This vehicle drive control device includes a means reducing a pump loss of the internal combustion engine by increasing an intake amount of the internal combustion engine. The drive control device further increases the intake amount of the internal combustion engine as compared with a request intake amount in an electric motor travel mode and reduces an intake amount increase amount thereof according to an increase of request torque to prevent a torque rapid increase at the start of the internal combustion engine while reducing the pump loss at the stop of the combustion of the internal combustion engine.
