PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil quenching device which prevents the generation of the part hard to be subjected to quenching treatment and suppresses variation in quenching strain as a result, without depending on the size and shape of a workpiece.SOLUTION: The oil quenching device 10 includes: an elevator 124; an elevator rise and fall part 126; an oil tank stirring unit 22; an in-oil jetting mechanism; and a CPU 50. The oil tank stirring unit 22 is composed in such a manner that quenching oil 122 in an oil tank 120 is stirred and circulated. The in-oil jetting mechanism includes a plurality of jetting nozzles 250 of which the distal ends are arranged so as to be opposite to the outer circumferential face of a workpiece 100. The CPU 50 is configured to control the operations of the elevator rise and fall part 126, the oil tank stirring unit 22 and the in-oil jetting mechanism. Then, the CPU 50 causes the elevator rise and fall part 126, the oil tank stirring unit 22 and the in-oil jetting mechanism to operate in a part or the whole of an oil cooling period. |
