PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator which, when separating a mixture of gas and liquid into a gas component and a liquid component for recovery, prevents mixing of scum generated on the surface of the mixture into a recovered gas component.SOLUTION: The gas-liquid separator 1 separates the mixture 26 of the gas and liquid into the gas component and liquid component, and includes a container 2 sectioned into a first chamber 5 storing the mixture 26 and a second chamber 10 recovering the scum 27 generated on the surface of the mixture 26 in the first chamber 5 and storing the scum 27, and a defoaming agent feed means 16 feeding a defoaming agent 20 into the second chamber 10 and for defoaming the foams of the scum 27 in the second chamber 10. |
