PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for imparting anti-washout property to a cementitious composition for concrete, cement masonry or the like to be exposed to water.SOLUTION: At least one polycationic polymer selected from the group consisting of quaternary amine and tertiary amine of 0.01 to 1.00 wt.%, at least one organic viscosity-modifying agent of 0.0005 to 0.5 wt.% and an inorganic viscosity-modifying agent of 0 to 5.0 wt.% working so as to swell upon exposure to water are added to a hydratable cementitious binder.
