PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which directly subjects ink to temperature control of the ink of deairing, stably improves the deairing rate in a deairing module, and provides a measure for reducing the influence of disturbances that affect the temperature control of the ink.SOLUTION: The ink-jet printer has: an ink tank for temporarily retaining non-deair ink which has not been deaired in accordance with temperature increase; a heater for heating the non-deair ink, which is stored in the ink tank, in the ink tank; and an ink-tank temperature detecting sensor for detecting the temperature of the non-deair ink stored in the ink tank. Based on the detection result of the ink-tank temperature detecting sensor, the ink-tank heater is controlled by an ink-tank controlling circuit so that the non-deair ink stored in the ink tank is at a set temperature to be achieved. The ink-tank heater is installed so as to be in contact with the ink, thereby efficiently transmitting heat thereto. |
