PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily producible spherical core having a swelling property without dispersion of physical properties, and to provide a membrane rupture type limited-time release formulation easily allowing drug elution control with high accuracy.SOLUTION: There are provided the spherical core including crystalline cellulose and one or more swelling agents selected from among croscarmellose sodium, pregelatinized starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch, hydroxypropyl cellulose with a low substitution degree, and crospovidone in a mass ratio of (90:10)-(30:70), and having a volume swelling degree of 100-700% by water absorption and a sphericity of ≥0.7 and ≤1; a spherical raw granule in which the surface of the spherical core is coated with a drug; and a spherical granule in which the surface of the spherical raw granule is coated with a water-insoluble substance. |
