摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when a structure such as a mounted object on a ship exists in a directed direction of the antenna of a GPS receiver, this structure becomes a shielding object, and puts the antenna in a blocked state where signals from a GPS satellite can not be received.SOLUTION: When rigging a ship-borne satellite communication device for the ship, and a communication antenna and the GPS antenna are fixed to a rotating device, and are installed with their respective positions made to have a predetermined relation, this GPS signal receiving means includes: a means for previously storing data on an azimuth angle of the communication antenna, at which the GPS antenna becomes incapable of receiving signals from the GPS satellite due to shielding by the structure on the ship, in a storage device to create a database; and a means for making the GPS satellite viewed from the GPS antenna be within a view angle, by rotating the communication antenna and the GPS antenna on a horizontal plane when the azimuth angle of the communication antenna is within a range described by the database, in receiving a signal from the GPS satellite by the GPS antenna.
