PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a distribution of a precoating agent in a gas to be processed directed to a filter in a filtering apparatus using a precoating agent nozzle.SOLUTION: A flow inlet portion 10 of a filtering apparatus 5 is provided on a side surface part 9a of a device case 9 as a slit-like or rectangular opening extending in a width direction. A recessed retention portion 12 having a cross-section shape opening downward when viewed in a longitudinal direction of the flow inlet portion 10 is formed to the upper edge part of the flow inlet portion 10 continuously in the longitudinal direction of the flow inlet portion 10. The precoating agent nozzle 11 is arranged at a predetermined position of the flow inlet portion 10 in the longitudinal direction in a state of spouting the precoating agent and gas toward the back inside face of the recessed retention portion 12.
