PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which in a circuit breaker system that causes a circuit breaker to carry out a breaking operation through a voltage trip coil in connection with fusing action of a fuse, an influence on a contact of the circuit breaker and on the voltage trip coil at the breaking operation is reduced.SOLUTION: A current measuring unit measures a current flowing between a power supply and a load through a fuse and a circuit breaker. A control unit controls voltage application to a voltage trip coil based on the current measured by the current measuring unit. When a given voltage is applied to the voltage trip coil, the circuit breaker opens a make-and-break contact disposed between the power supply and the load to break the connection between the power supply and the load.
