A key display manner updating method and a radio handset are disclosed in the present invention. The method includes: counting the click times of each key on the virtual keyboard (101); based on the relationship between the click times of the keys and the display manners, obtaining the display manner corresponding to the counted click times of said each key (102); displaying said each key according to the display manner corresponding to the click times of said each key (103). The present invention improves the flexibility for displaying the keys on the virtual keyboard by the radio handset and the efficiency for obtaining the key input information on the virtual keyboard.
