The stamp (1) has a stamping tool (9) including an electromotor (7) e.g. servomotor, to execute a stamping process by upward and downward movements of the tool. Movement of a driven shaft of the electromotor is transferred such that the electromotor causes the downward and upward movements of the tool while maintaining a rotation direction. An upper reversal point of the tool is adjustable during changing the downward movement to the upward movement in a level opposite to a lower support surface (2) of a stamping good. Two pillars (3, 4) are firmly connected with the support surface.
