PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator separating gas and liquid for a long period of time effectively even when tilted in all directions, and a hydrogen production apparatus and a fuel cell system using the same.SOLUTION: The gas-liquid separator includes a gas-liquid separation container 101 for separating a gas and liquid mixed fluid into gas and liquid 502 by gravity difference. The gas-liquid separation container 101 includes an introduction pipe 105, an exhaust pipe 106, and a drain pipe 102. The exhaust pipe 106 includes a suction pipe 107 having an air intake 108 for sucking the gas separated from the gas-liquid mixed fluid at the distal end. The air intake 108 of the suction pipe 107 is arranged at the center of the gas-liquid separation container 101. The drain pipe 102 includes the suction pipe 103 having a flexible suction pipe 103 having a water intake 109 for sucking the liquid 502 separated from the gas-liquid mixed fluid at the distal end. A weight 104 is provided near the water intake 109 of the suction pipe 103 so as to move the water intake 109 of the suction pipe 103 in the gravity direction in the gas-liquid separation container 101.
