PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device comprising a speed change gear which can be reduced in size and weight.SOLUTION: This pump device comprising a speed change gear which changes the rotational speed input from a prime mover thereto and outputs the changed rotational speed to a pump shaft includes a clutch device 31 for engaging and disengaging the transmission of a rotating force from a drive shaft 17 to a driven shaft 18 and a brake device 32 for restraining the rotation of the driven shaft 18. The clutch device 31 is of a hydraulic multi-disc type having clutch pistons 53. The brake device 32 is of a hydraulic multi-disc type having brake pistons 59. A piston storage member 60 comprising a clutch piston storage part 61 for storing the clutch pistons 53 and a brake piston storage part 62 for storing the brake pistons 59 is attached to the driven shaft 18. |
