PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a synthetic resin-foamed molding, which enables efficient and stable manufacture of even a molding of a complicated shape by preventing the occurrence of poor filling, e.g., underfilling, as much as possible; and to provide a mold for carrying out it.SOLUTION: In injecting a synthetic resin-foaming material into a mold and foaming and curing the material to obtain a synthetic resin-foamed molding of a specified shape, a foaming gas-containing space communicating with a cavity of the mold is formed. A pressure controller of expanding the volume when the inner pressure of the foaming gas-containing space exceeds a predetermined pressure is additionally provided to the foaming gas-containing space so as to discharge a gas generated during foaming of the foaming material into the foaming gas-containing space and contain the gas in the foaming gas-containing space. When the inner pressure of the foaming gas-containing space exceeds the predetermined pressure, the volume of the foaming gas-containing space is expanded by the pressure controller in order to prevent the occurrence of poor filling in the cavity of the mold. |
