PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for image processing, and a program by which a position of an endoscope in a human body and a position thereof on a guide image can be agreed with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The image processing device includes: an image acquisition part 325 to obtain an image of the inside of region in a subject's body photographed by the endoscope; an in-vivo-position-identification-information acquisition part 341 to obtain the in-vivo position identification information for specifying the position of the endoscope inside the subject's body when the image is photographed; a region-model acquisition part 343 to obtain the region model the body region inside the subject; an on-model position specification part 342 to specify the position on the model corresponding to the position specified by the acquired in-vivo-position-identification information or the acquired region model; and a relating part 345 to relate the information on the photographed images to the specified position on the model. |
