PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device capable of preventing the startability of an engine from being lowered when an abnormality occurs in the engine and the engine is re-started while a throttle valve is returned to a fully closed position.SOLUTION: This engine control device includes an abnormality discrimination part 204 for discriminating the abnormality of a throttle system sensor based on the output of the throttle system sensor (first and second throttle valve opening sensors 168, 170), a throttle motor drive part 206 for controlling the driving of a throttle motor 166, and a fuel injection control unit 210 for controlling the injection amount of a fuel during the startup of the engine 22 using a startup fuel injection map. The throttle motor drive part 206 stops the driving of the throttle motor 166 when the throttle system sensor is determined abnormal. The fuel injection control unit 210 changes over the startup fuel injection map during normal time to a startup fuel injection map during abnormal when the startup of the engine 22 is performed again after the throttle system sensor is determined abnormal and the engine 22 is stopped. |
