PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device which prevent actuation of an image forming apparatus unless a predetermined condition is satisfied even when an additional device counterfeited based on a regular product is attached to the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: The power supply device 400 includes a CPU 210 and a flash memory 240. The CPU 210 can set a power supply output upper limit value to a first upper limit value or a second upper limit value exceeding the first upper limit value. When a first key is input from the input part of the image forming apparatus 100, the CPU 210 selects the second upper limit value corresponding to the first key. The flash memory 240 stores a second key 244 which is peculiarly assigned to the power supply 400 and is used for a comparison with the first key. |
