PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability in a cam ring, a piston and a ball as torque generating members, in a hydraulic power transmission joint.SOLUTION: This hydraulic power transmission joint includes: a housing arranged between relatively rotatable input-output shafts, connected to one shaft and integrally rotating with the cam ring formed with a cam groove on an inside surface; a rotor rotatably stored in the housing, connected to the other shaft and formed with a plurality of cylinders in the axial direction; a plurality of pistons reciprocatably stored in the plurality of respective cylinders and driven by the cam ring in relative rotation of both shafts, a ball receiving part formed in a head part of the pistons; and the ball arranged between the cam groove and the ball receiving part. The hydraulic power transmission joint transmits torque corresponding to a rotating speed difference of both shafts. In the hydraulic power transmission joint, the pistons can rotate around the center line of a cylindrical shape, and a central point of a concave spherical surface of the ball receiving part is eccentric to the center line of the pistons. |
