PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath apparatus capable of removing carbonated water and carbon dioxide remaining inside piping and equipment of the bath apparatus and facilitating construction work, in which the piping and the equipment are hardly corroded even when the concentration of carbon dioxide in hot water is set high, and in which the equipment hardly malfunctions, and a method of cleaning the bath apparatus.SOLUTION: This bath apparatus 1 includes a carbon dioxide dissolving apparatus 83, and generates carbonic acid hot water by making water flowing in a flow passage to contain carbon dioxide by the carbon dioxide dissolving apparatus 83, and pours the carbonic acid hot water into a bath tub 5. Further, by making hot water not containing carbon dioxide to flow in the flow passage and the equipment through which the carbonic acid hot water flowed, the flow passage in which the carbonic acid hot water flowed is cleaned, and the carbonated water and carbon dioxide remaining in the flow passage and the equipment in the bath apparatus 1 are removed. |
