PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can suppress the occurrence of the fogging phenomenon.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a rotation drive control section 330 for controlling the rotation drive portion 250 so that the rotating speed of a stirring member is equal to a first rotating speed, in the case of a high proportion of print, and for controlling the rotation drive portion 250 so that the rotational speed of the stirring member is equal to a second rotating speed higher than the first rotating speed, at a low proportion of print; and a supply amount determining section 240 for determining the amount of supply based on an amount of stored developer, measured by a measuring portion 310, when the rotational speed is equal to the first rotating speed, and for determining an amount of supply, based on the proportion of print, when the rotating speed is equal to the second rotating speed. |
