PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide device module that reduces discontinuity of electric connection between the optical waveguide device and a connection substrate and prevents deterioration of electrical characteristics.SOLUTION: The optical waveguide device module includes a control electrode for controlling an optical wave propagating through an optical waveguide, and a connection substrate having wiring electrically connected to the control electrode, which are stored in a casing. The control electrode includes a signal electrode and ground electrodes arranged to hold the signal electrode. The connection substrate includes a signal line and ground lines arranged to hold the signal line. The distance W1 between the ground electrodes at an input end or output end of the control electrode is larger than the distance W2 between the ground lines on the side of the optical waveguide device of the connection substrate. The control electrode has a part where the distance between the ground electrodes is smaller than the distance W2 in a part separated from the input end or output end, and wiring distance W for ground for connecting the optical waveguide device and the connection substrate is at least smaller than the distance W1. |
