PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise storage device of a vending machine, for satisfactorily storing even merchandise such as confectionery in a cylindrical container without generating any merchandise jamming.SOLUTION: A merchandise rack 10 of the vending machine includes: the merchandise storage passage 13 demarcated by arranging a plurality of guiding members 12 between a pair of right and left base side boards 11; a movable side board 40 configured to adjust the right and left width of the merchandise storage passage 13; and a flapper 14 which progressively moves to the merchandise storage passage 13 by being energized by an energizing means in a normal state and corrects the attitude of the merchandise by being abutted on the merchandise passing through the merchandise storage passage 13, wherein when an ejection command is given, the lowest order merchandise among the merchandise stored in the merchandise storage passage 13 is ejected downward. When the right and left width of the merchandise storage passage 13 specified by the movable side board 40 is set to a predetermined size, the flapper 14 is pressurized to the movable side board 40, and held with an attitude where it regressively moves from the merchandise storage passage 13 against the energizing force of the energizing means in a normal state. |
