PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader, an image reading method, and an image reading program wherein double feed can be detected reliably.SOLUTION: The sheet length is determined (S2). When the sheet length is determined, the width of an image is determined (S8). A decision is made whether the width of an image thus determined is wider than or equal to the sheet width or not (S9), and when a decision is made that the width of an image is not wider than or equal to the sheet width (S9:No), image data of the coordinate position X is erased (S11). When the image data is erased, a generated image from which a projecting part is deleted is generated. A decision is then made whether the length of the generated image is longer than the sheet length or not (S14). When a decision is made that the length of the generated image is longer than the sheet length (S14:Yes), "occurrence of double feed" is displayed (S15). |
