PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress life deterioration of a descaling device, while improving descaling efficiency.SOLUTION: The descaling device includes jetting nozzles 3 that spout jetting fluid toward a steel plate 1 carried in. The attack angle θ of the jetting nozzle 3 to the steel plate 1 carried in is set to 1 degree or larger. A protector 4 is provided between the steel plate 1 and the jetting nozzle 3, which prevents rebounding water from the steel plate 1 from returning to the jetting nozzle 3 side. On the protector 4, a protector hole 5 is opened to pass the jetting fluid from the jetting nozzle 3 toward the steel plate 1. The distance from a position of jetting hole 3a of the jetting nozzle 3 to the edge position of the protector hole 5 on the upstream side of the steel plate 1, in the direction along the moving direction of the steel plate 1, is arranged to 30 mm or less. |
